The second bath

Bath #2 went much better than bath #1, which went undocumented so as to prevent any investigation in regards to claims of child endangerment. But Bath #2 brought surprises of its own, as Maggie responded instinctively to warm water being poured over her head. Anyways above are some pics and a vid.

One week old.

There is no real way to express exactly what it feels like to be a father. I swear, I read "What to expect when you are expecting" cover to cover twice. Nothing in there prepared me for this. Maggie is such a joy, such fun and truly the brightest star in my life. I honestly cannot imagine what i did without her.
So the highlights for the last week... Our first doctors visit went well, she gained a few ounces from when she left the hospital, and besides that they agreed that categorically speaking she was in about the 75th percentile in height and weight and the 110th percentile in overall cuteness. Not bad.

Homecoming

Well we did it. We escaped. And just in time, as we were ready to show Maggie her home and her tricked out room. She was super aware on the ride home, checking 0ut all the sights in Schenley Park, and she almost convinced me to stop off at Brusters for some ice cream. Maybe next time Maggie.

Hospital

Maggie stole our hearts from the first moment we saw her. Here in the pics, you see her with Mom, and her great grandma, Margaret Devlin(nice name). We are just so excited to have this bundle of joy. But we couldn't wait to get her home.
